Same Day Sick Visit for Children
We offer same day appointments for your sick child. We only book 50% of the available appointments before we open the office on a given day. As the calls come in, we fill out the rest of the schedule. Please call the office as early as possible to get your choice of appointment times.

School, Sports & Camp Physicals
It is helpful to schedule physicals ahead of time to avoid the rush at the beginning of the school year. Kindergarten exams are especially elaborate and include Vision, Hearing, and Blood Pressure screening as well as any other specialty testing that is needed. We recommend not giving children any candy before or during the visit as we may need to run blood tests, and the sugar consumption may cause erroneous results. The hearing tests are done using an advanced instrument called an 'Audiopath'. We can check hearing even in a new born baby! These exams are time-consuming so allow plenty of time to get these important physicals. Also, please remember to bring Immunization records with you for review and update.

Asthma / Asthmatic Kids
Comprehensive testing including Pulmonary Function Tests are available for managing Asthmatic children. We use the latest medications and peak flow meters with our Asthma patients. We recommend a check up every 3-6 months for Asthma patients.

Immunizations / Vaccinations
We offer all the immunizations that your kids need from when they are babies to when they reach the teen age years. Click here or call us for more info on when your child should get a vaccine to prevent future infections.

Allergy Testing and Shots
We offer an Allergy Scratch test for 101 items and will institute a customized treatment plan for patients who are in need.

ADHD Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
Dr. Gavini has a special interest in treating ADHD children and has helped hundreds of children achieve their true potential with proper guidance, interaction with the teachers and appropriate medications in selected cases. Minor Surgery and Trauma Care
We offer minor trauma management in our office to avoid the inconvenience and high expense of an emergency room visit. Suture placement, suture-less adhesive repair and suture removal are done in the office. We place splints and casts as well as remove casts in our office.

Newborn Care and Immunizations
We offer all immunizations reccommended for infants, children and adolescents.

Shots for Overseas Travel
